APRIM News Week 2 Term 3 2025
Sacramental Program
Information for Parents
Children preparing for the Sacraments participate in Family Workshops during the school term.
- Reconciliation is celebrated in Term 3 of this year.
- First Holy Communion and Confirmation are celebrated in Term 2 of the following year.
Each child receives a workbook to guide their preparation, which is completed both at home with their family and during our workshops.
It’s important to note that preparing to celebrate a sacrament is not the same as simply learning about it. While learning about the sacraments is part of the Religious Education curriculum in Catholic schools, the preparation for receiving a sacrament is a faith journey led by the family, in partnership with the parish and school.
This program is designed to support families on that journey, helping children grow in faith and understanding with the guidance of their loved ones and the wider church community.
If you would like your child to participate in any of these sacraments, please email me: lcavuoto@sfoa.catholic.edu.au

Well-Being
💛 WELLBEING WEDNESDAY 💛
Ever felt too busy to pause and take a mindful moment?
Try pressing play on your favourite playlist and let the music slow you down.
Music has a unique way of soothing the soul. Whether it’s a calming tune during a busy day or a favourite song that lifts your spirits, music can bring comfort, joy, and a sense of peace. It helps us unwind, reduces stress, and can even bring back uplifting memories.
Take a moment this week to play something that speaks to you, let the music be your reset, your motivation, or your moment of calm. 🎵💛
Go gently with music...🎧🎶
Kind regards,
Lisa Cavuoto
